Job Overview
Joyful Learning Educational Development Center is seeking a caring and dedicated Early Education Teacher to provide high-quality care and instruction in a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment. The teacher will support children’s learning and development through age-appropriate activities and positive interactions.
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead developmentally appropriate activities and lessons
- Support children’s social-emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom
- Use positive behavior guidance and active supervision
- Complete lesson plans, observations, and required documentation
- Communicate professionally with families and staff
- Follow Title 22, Title 5, health, and safety regulations
- Participate in trainings, meetings, and safety drills
Qualifications
- Minimum 12 ECE units required or a valid permit through the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC)
- Experience in preschool or childcare settings preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Must pass Live Scan, TB test,
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
